The Institution of marriage is an important one in Islam for the purpose of worshipping Allah, to establish a righteous society and for the couples to lawfully enjoy themselves through the bond of marriage. To write book on marriage from the perspective of faith is needed more than before due to the assault against marriage as an institution due to the general understanding today that the institution of family is currently on a life support struggling for survival. Islam however, considers the family unit as responsible for the emotional well-being, security and personal sense of worth for the members.
