Seeds of Righteousness: Tools for Muslim Women to Spread Islam

    By Abdul-Malik Al-Qasim

In this book, we collected nearly two hundred Seeds of Righteousness, green and fruitful, for Muslim women to sow and reap. These seeds were sown by Muslim sisters who took care of them until they grew to produce various fruits and benefits. These are also good examples of da’wah to Allah that should be practiced by Muslim women, who strive hard to acquire safety on their path to the Hereafter. This is a call to the Muslim sister who has not planted a Seed of Righteousness yet. Use the Seeds of Righteousness offered to you in this book, might and that Allah accept your good deeds from you.

Golden Stories of Sayyida Khadijah (RA) highlights the character, life, and contributions of Sayyida Khadija. Being the first wife of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), she has a great status and importance in Islamic history and literature. Known for her sacrifices, love, devotion, and commitment to the cause of Allah, she is declared as a shining example to follow. Her character earned her great respect even in the pre-Islamic era and was known as “Tahirah” that means “pure and righteous”.

This book by Abdul Malik Mujahid is a lovely collection of authentic events that highlights her intelligence, commitment to religion, sincere belief in God and determination under the most difficult circumstances. The book’s tone is very delicate that literally takes the reader back in time to the very beginning of Islam, providing deep insights into her life and early Islamic era. If you want to gift your girls and daughters something, nothing could be better than this as it will help them learn how to be a faithful Muslim lady, a dedicated wife, and an ideal mother. However, this does not mean this is ‘female only’ book; instead, male can also learn lots of lessons from her life

  • Business Ethics in Islam

The present work attempts to answer the question: what characterises a Muslim’s behaviour in business life? The author answers by saying that the Qur’an lays down a set of principles to provide guidance for the conduct of a Muslim businessman. This guidance consists not merely of ‘laws’, but also of ethical norms. Thus a Muslim is urged not only to give others their due; rather to give even more than what one legally owes them so as to fulfil the requirements of benevolence and magnanimity.

Likewise, he is expected not only to shun all that is prohibited, but also to abstain from actions about which his conscience does not feel fully at rest. The author emphatically argues that the Islamic world-view, with its emphasis on the Hereafter, fosters an outlook which significantly differs from that prevalent in the present times. Moreover, it is God’s will as revealed of God’s Prophets rather than the frail reason of human beings to which one ought to primarily turn for guidance. In sum, the business ethics of Islam has a distinct entity both in terms of its underlying spirit and its content.
