Maryam Bukar Hassan, a.k.a Alhanislam, is the founder of deen-at-heart organization, to which the deen-at-heart foundation is an affiliate. She’s also a known motivational speaker.
Born on the 25th December 1996, an indigene of Borno state, from biu local government, Maryam is the second child from a family of 5. She started school at the age of 2, got double promoted twice, attended Nigerian custom staff school for her primary education, she attended Al madinah Islamic Academy, uncle bado Memorial College in kaduna state for her secondary education, graduating at the young age of 15.
She is also an ICT graduate from Radford University College, graduating at 19 with a second class upper degree and now looking forward to her masters.
While at Radford University College, at the age of only 17, Maryam became the vice president – Foreign students Association; as well as the Student-Senate clerk at National level, for which she was awarded a certificate of merit for her outstanding leadership. She was also the vice president of kaduna state students association, Accra, Ghana branch; she was also the secretary general of SFAN (Students From All Nations) in Accra Ghana.
On the 10th of December, 2016, Maryam organized a seminar titled: ”THE POWER OF THE WEB :’digital revenue for the movie industry”. Maryam is also an active Yali member and a holder of 8 certificates awarded by yali (Young African leaders initiative).
Her biggest inspiration is her mother, Hajiya Hauwa Maina who is a co-founder at deen-at-heart foundation.
Maryam finds peace and joy in giving back to the society and has only very recently signed a caller tune contract with Airtel, Etisalat and MTN. She is being recognized in Nigeria and beyond as Alhanislam – the motivational speaker.
Maryam’s hobbies includes: dancing, reading, writing, sketching, and she loves listening to poetic expressions and exploring creativity as a whole.
She is currently working on her first Book, a poetry collection as well as on the maiden edition of a magazine.
